Alpha Iota

Alpha Iota is an international business sorority and is the only sorority on campus with a brother fraternity: Phi Theta Pi. Alpha Iota was founded on October 21, 1925. Alpha Iota has four philanthropies. The first philanthropy is autism awareness where we hold our annual Alpha Affair where we host a silent auction, invite a guest speaker, and donate the money that was raised to an organization supporting autism awareness. The second philanthropy is Love 146, which is human trafficking awareness where we invite a guest speaker and have various stations for individuals to go around and learn more about human trafficking. The third philanthropy is K-9’s for vets, where we host a drive for the organizations on campus to participate in and donate dog food, blankets, toys, etc. for veterans to be able to provide for their dogs without having to pay for it. The last philanthropy is the on-campus blood drives, where we partner with the Red Cross and get students and the community to donate blood.
