Tiffin University Giving Day 2021

After a record-breaking 2020-21 season, the Dragons are back in full force ready to take on the challenges ahead in the 2021-22 season. The bar has been set high as last year brought an 18-9 record and a 4^th place finish in regular-season play. The 20-21 team won themselves a GMAC championship, a noteworthy win over #9 Cedarville University, and an impressive NCAA tournament run to the Atlantic Regional Sweet 16 game after defeating #3 ranked Glenville State. The team will return all 5 of their starters including All-Conference players Aarion Nichols (1^st team and Defensive all-conference team) and Savanah Richards (2^nd team).

The Dragons set a couple of new program records along the way. The 20-21 season recorded the most points scored in a season with the Dragons putting up 2023 points. Their 42.6% field goal percentage was the highest field goal percentage in program history. The Dragon team was the #1 defensive team in the conference, only allowing 63.6 opponent points per game. Their 18 win season and 4^th place regular season finish was the most wins and highest place finish since the 2011-12 season. The GMAC Champions earned the program’s first NCAA tournament berth and continued to break program history records reaching the Atlantic Sweet 16 game. The team made impressive accomplishments off the floor as well. For the third year in a row, the Women’s Basketball team has been ranked in the WBCA’s All-Academic Top 25 Team. This past season the Dragons finished 6^th with a team GPA of 3.721.

Huge thanks to our growing Victory Club for your continued support as we have been able to renovate our locker room, improve pre/post-game meal options, upgrade our scouting technology, implement an ACL prevention program, and continue our life skills/wisdom Wednesday programs. By donating today, you can help us reach our goal of improving the overall experience for our student-athletes as we maneuver out of a challenging COVID-19 season. The challenges brought on by COVID-19 has proven these Dragons are resilient and we will not have to sacrifice the standard of excellence we have worked for these past recent years, We are raising funds for such things as to continue to upgrade our facilities, equipment, team travel, and extracurricular activities.
